Jessica Hull, MS, LMHC
Owner and Therapist
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and the Owner of Jessica Hull Mental Health Counseling. I received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology from State University of New York at Cortland and my Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from State University of New York at Oswego.
Remote therapy allows me to reach clients who might not have access to traditional therapy, due to distance or mobility issues. It also allows me to work with clients in the comfort of their own homes, which can be especially helpful for those dealing with anxiety or PTSD.
In my therapy sessions, I use a variety of techniques to help my clients heal. Person-centered therapy is the foundation of my approach, as I believe that each person has the power to heal themselves. I work collaboratively with my clients to create a safe, supportive environment where they can explore their thoughts and feelings.
Body-based therapy is another important part of my approach. I believe that the mind and body are deeply connected, and that trauma can manifest in physical symptoms. By helping my clients tune in to their bodies, we can identify and release the tension and pain that is holding them back.
Finally, I use accelerated resolution therapy (ART) to help my clients move past traumatic events more quickly and effectively. ART uses techniques like eye movements and guided imagery to help clients reprocess traumatic memories in a safe, controlled environment.
Through my work, I have seen the power of therapy to transform lives. My clients have overcome anxiety, PTSD, and major life transitions, and have emerged stronger and more resilient as a result. I feel deeply grateful to be able to do this work, and look forward to continuing to help people find healing and hope through remote therapy.
